updates and Chapter 4! finally XD

In no means am I an awesome story teller. But the people around me made me realize, everyone makes up stories in their head. they have that one story they spend years thinking about. but it's all in their head. you think you're the only one that does this but actually, a lot of people do. they have no intention to publish it and most people are somewhat embarrassed and think their story is dumb. in fact, I'd be embarrassed to show most people I know in real life my stories. I think that they would think I'm dumb and weird. What is it about online anonymity that makes me want people to read it and talk about it? as far as I know, only 2 people actully read and follow my story but they inspire me to keep writing it out. thanks so much, GiantCaliber and raynerlacsonreturns. I couldn't do it without you.

Chapter 4: Jet's Abilities

Jet smiles and holds out his fist toward Yu in approval of his offer. Yu does the same and brings out his fist. At the moment the fists touch, both of them open (like a paper in rock-paper-scissors)

Yu tells Jet "Now, if that harp is what you really want, go do something for me. Try and catch the elf. But this time, when he disappears, don't turn around and chase him. Look closely at the point he is standing when he first appears there."

Jet -"Umm... sure." I'm not sure what this is for but I've seen Yu's capability. I'll just do so as he says.

"I'm not done yet!" Jet darts toward the pond/lake, takes a leap and flies straight toward Shin as if he were to tackle him down. Just as predicted, Shin vanishes the moment Jet was about to land on him.

Jet lands on the rock in a kneeling position right where Shin was standing. Right on the surface of the rock, there was an orange sticker with some kind of symbol on it. As he looked up towards the bushes to make eye contact with Yu, Yu signals him not to touch it. Jet makes a confused but I'll-do-whatever-you-say expression and charges at Shin again, who is now standing in the middle of the field.

Shin just makes a stern expression while Jet makes a weak sprint towards him, panting. When Jet reaches him, he decides to give a little fight rather than just disappear. As Jet throws punches and kicks at him, he just seemed to repel them effortlessly, like two magnets of the same pole. Clearly, Jet was not a fighter. Now, rather than tired, he was getting irritated. "Come on, just something land on him!" Jet then remembered. That bicycle kick he used to do to show off when he used to play soccor at school. Yeah, that's it. It's much fancier than aimless punches and kicks. And, Jet was pretty good at soccor.

Pretending Shin's head was a soccorball in the air, Jet jumps, does some fancy spin, and pretends to clear the soccorball. Just as he was about to kick his head, Shin made a surprised expression like he didn't have time to dodge it. Where did this come from? Shin then vanished, since he did not want to get kicked in the head like that. Jet landed, somewhat proud of his kick but disappointed that Shin got away, scanned the ground and found that sticker a few yards away.

Shin was now up in the tree, near where Yu is hiding. Jet was to pretend to get Shin and use the opportunity to report his findings to Yu and make a plan.

Jet dashes toward the tree and kicks a fist sized rock towards him that happened to be on the ground. Shin, even with his keen senses and speed, barely dodged it, and even then, it nicked his face. Bang!!! As Shin turned around, he gasped at the sight of a hole that went right through the tree. To think that he could've died instilled a small fear inside him. This Jet can be quite dangerous!

Jet forgot for a moment that he had to make a plan with Yu. With full determination to snatch the harp this time around, he thrusted off the ground, up the tree, jumping up from branch to branch. He goes for a direct headbutt at Shin but Shin disappeared at just the right moment. Jet keeps flying full force and his head hits a tree trunk. His hard dense head leaves a crater in the trunk. Now he sits on the branch with stars flying around his head.

"You can be pretty scary. I'm impressed." Jet turns around to the voice but can't find anybody. "Up here, Beckham!" (Beckham, in case you didn't know, is a really famous pro soccor player.) Jet looks up, with his vision still blurred from the crash but finally clears up to see Yu hanging upside down on a branch above him mischeviously, smiling.

Yu swings off and lands in a squatting position right beside Jet. Jet tells him of his findings and Yu just nods.

"Alright, Beckham. We've got this. Let me explain how you and I can snatch that harp..."

What is this plan? Will it actually work?
