Graduation Memory - Portrait

I was drawing in lounge at school when I met Remy. She is very nice lady and handed me a wallet size photograph of her graduation picture of few decades ago. It had to be laminated because it was falling apart. She told me that she visited the studio in the Philippines where this picture was taken to get the negative so she can make nice copy of the photo. However, that studio had burned down so that small, ragged picture was the only picture she had. She saw me working on a portrait in the lounge and asked me to draw this picture.

I felt really pressured because first, I could not lose this picture and second, it had to look exactly like the picture.

I offered to draw it for free because I love drawing enough that it wouldn't bother me to not be paid.

I was inclined to put in my best effort, to get in details I couldn't see in the picture and make the mouth, eyes and hair beautiful. It was a very important portrait.

I like the result. the face and hair turned out nice in my opinion.
