So this is my first journal ever. So, I've been into realistic drawing lately... One day, I came across this extremely amazing artist, Nicolien Beerens (Cataclysm-X). She is just AMAZING!! Her drawings look like real photos and I just love the way she draws the eyes and the hair. It made my jaw drop the first time I saw them; I never even knew that such art even existed. I'm inspired by them so thats why I've been working hard on realistic drawings. I even bought myself new art pencils so that I could add more contrast and volume to my drawings. And... it was well worth my money. I would never go back to drawing with regular pencils. I am trying so hard to keep up my grades and improving drawing at the same time. Oh, and I've got to get back on my piano... Theres so many songs I want to cover!!
